La Vie en Rose - Part 2

Part 2 of a 3 part series. This is a portrait of a beautiful woman, the muse - Aweng Chuol, a Sudanese model with a striking dark completion and classical nubian features. Awneg's beauty has always amazed artist, Patty B and and therefore a strong influence of many of Patty B's imagined characters. In this scene the beautiful lady is also in attendance of the grand soiree, the kind of soiree where everything is pink and rosey and full of the sweetest kind of love. Her portrait has been drawn on black paper using charcoal and white pastels and the rest of the image including the background and floral attire have been collaged from recycled scrap material.
