KARIBU COLLECTION
Karibu, meaning "welcome" in Swahili, is the collection of the work created by PattyB during her time in East Africa. These originals are now on sale at the Karibu Collection Store and the good news is we also deliver all over the world.
DIARRA DIARRA
The first in the Karibu Collection, Patty B portrays the story a handsome prince, Diarra Diarra, the descendant of Mansong Diarra from the Bambara Empire in Segou, Mali.
A charcoal portrait of West African model (Septum Papi) embellished with Patty B's signature lokta textures.

NYASHA, AT HOME
Based on the complex character from the novel Nervous Conditions by Tsitsi Dangaremgba. Nyasha tells the story of returning back home. For this collection, PattyB is embracing the inspiration from her new surrounding, and portraying scenic backgrounds to compliment the portrait subject.

MUCHIN, SITTING ON THE PARK BENCH
This piece is artist Patty B's homage to Horace Pippin, a black american self taught artist from fhe 1940's, who also painted portraits including the famous Park Bench, which PattyB has recreated in her signature style.

HER HEALING SPACE
This piece tells of my healing journey. As creating has been the catalyst to the process the healing space includes all that brings me peace and joy - books, art plants, dialogue with a trusted person and the colour yellow.
